More Fibers from Rare Breeds: Navajo Churro

This breed was brought to the Americas by the Spanish several centuries ago. It's a rugged breed, highly tolerant of extreme weather conditions, which has been a factor in their survival. Double-coated, with a protective outercoat & soft undercoat. Fleece has a longer staple length. Highly prized for use by Navajo weavers in their rugs.
